Day 1: Arrival in Bogotá: We will meet at El Dorado Airport, then travel to the hotel, followed by a short walk, dinner, and rest. Accommodation in the historic downtown area:

Day 2: Bogotá city tour: Visit the Monserrate lookout by cable car (3,200 meters above sea level), then explore the old town (La Candelaria): the Gold Museum, Botero Museum, main square, cathedral, and the presidential palace. Lunch: ajiaco soup, followed by tasting exotic fruits and local specialties.
Day 3: In the morning, a one-and-a-half-hour flight to Leticia, the capital of the Amazon region, located at the tri-border of Colombia, Peru, and Brazil. Lunch on the Amazon River at a floating restaurant. Transfer by boat to the Marasha Nature Reserve (in Peru, about 20 km away). A short jungle tour, searching for monkeys, canoeing, birdwatching, and our accommodation will be in the rainforest on the shore of Lake Marasha.
Day 4: After breakfast, we will explore how the local communities live. In the forest, we will search for sloths. We will watch for dolphins in the river (both gray and pink dolphins). At the animal shelter, we will get to pet monkeys. Optionally, we can also go fishing for piranhas. Day 5: After breakfast, we will return to Leticia. A short city tour: exploring the market and the ethnographic museum. Traditional lunch in Brazil: we will take a tuk-tuk (moto-taxi on three wheels) to Tabatinga, a city that has completely merged with Leticia. After that, we will head to the airport and fly to Medellín with a layover in Bogotá. In the evening, we will enjoy some drinks in the Laureles neighborhood. Accommodation:

Day 6: Medellíncity tour (by SUV): Visit the hideout and the site of Pablo Escobar's death. San Javier: Experience the MetroCable ("cable car”, like a ski lift) over the suburbs, then visit Comuna 13. Once the world's most dangerous neighborhood, it is now a completely safe tourist attraction. We will explore the old city center and see the famous Botero sculptures. Barrio Pablo Escobar: visit the neighborhood named after the drug lord, where he built 500 houses for the poor.

Day 7: West Antioquia road trip (by SUV): First, we will visit the Puente del Occidente suspension bridge, then explore the colonial old town of Santa Fé de Antioquia, the region’s old capital founded in 1541 by the Spaniards (we will take a tuk-tuk from the bridge to the small town and back to the vehicle). In the afternoon, we will travel to the village of Olaya, where we will see the main square and the colonial-style church, then we will stay at the River House vacation rental with a pool, offering beautiful views of the Cauca River. Day 8: Off to the coffee farms! After a 3-hour drive through stunning landscapes, we will arrive in the village of Jardín, in the heart of the Antioquia coffee region. Our hotel is located in nature among coffee fields and bamboo forests, just 5 minutes from the village’s main square. In the afternoon, we will visit a family-owned coffee plantation, where Don Diego tells us about the coffee-making process and try some exotic local fruits, too. Later in the afternoon, we will go birdwatching (Cock-of-the-rock). In the evening, we will have dinner in the main square, enjoy some rum, and see how the locals live and have fun. Day 9: JEEP tour up into the mountains to an altitude of 2,500 meters above sea level (from 1,700 meters) to the orchid nature reserve. We will admire the flowers, feed hummingbirds, and take a walk to the waterfalls. In the afternoon, we will go fishing at the trout lakes or riding horses to the waterfalls.

Day 10: After breakfast, we will travel from Medellín to Guatapé, which takes about 5-6 hours. Guatapé, located at an altitude of 1,900 meters, is one of Colombia's most popular tourist attractions! Day 11: Our first activity is El Peñón de Guatapé, a 200-meter-high rock formation that can be climbed via 700 steps for a stunning panoramic view. After that, we will visit the charming village of Guatapé, decorated with colorful baseboards, and then take a one-hour boat tour of the lake system, where we will visit Pablo Escobar’s former hacienda, the Finca La Manuela. Afterward, we will descend to San Rafael, 900 meters below, through incredible valleys. In the afternoon, we will go on a short hike to La Honda waterfall and swim in the river. In the evening, we will have dinner in the village.

Day 12: Cocoa tour: prepare your chocolate. We will visit the Rendón family farm, where we will encounter incredible biodiversity: cocoa and coffee plantations, we have a walk in the jungle. In addition to cocoa, we will learn about many other fruits, and the farm is home to 197 registered bird species as well as countless butterflies.
In the afternoon, we head back to Rionegro International Airport (about a 2-hour journey), and in the evening, we will fly to Cartagena in search of Caribbean adventures.

Day 13: Cartagena is the jewel of the Caribbean, Colombia's top tourist destination, and the most outstanding Spanish colonial port city in the world, founded by the conquistadors in 1533 and became the continent’s most important port. Day 14-16: In the morning, a 2-hour boat trip to Múcura Island, the Caribbean paradise. You will stay at Hotel Punta Faro for 3 days in the Deluxe Suite. In addition to enjoying the beach, there are other activities available: diving, SPA, tennis, padel, biking, catamaran sailing, and boat tours to other islands.
